Obituary
Robert James Summers, age 72, of Bardstown, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2011 at Life Care Center of Bardstown.
Born July 10, 1939 in Chicago, Illinois, he was a former Correction Guard at Luther Luckett Reformatory in LaGrange and was a U. S. Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Louise Summers and his parents, Walter James and Agnes Mary Summers.
Survivors include his two sons, James Summers of Floyds Knobs, IN and Rob Summers of Louisville, daughter, Deborah Warren of Louisville and three grandchildren.
There will be no services. Cremation was chosen.

Mattingly Funeral Home in Loretto is in charge of arrangements.
