Obituary
Mary Sallie Neel, age 86 of Fredericktown, passed away Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown.
She was born March 17, 1928 in Washington County. She was a former Farmer's Wife and member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Neel, her parents, Anthony Columbus and Ann Catherine Graves Reed, one sister, Margaret Stella Smith of Manton and three brothers, George, Richard Leo and Robert H. Reed.
Survivors include one sister, Theresa Winfield of Manton, one sister-in-law, Juanita Reed of Louisville, several nieces and nephews and her caregiver, Angela Smith of Springfield.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 AM Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 306 Fredericktown Road, Springfield, with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Matt Hardesty will be the celebrant.
Visitation is 4-8 PM Monday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, with a prayer service at 7 PM.
Pallbearers are Bobby Smith, Eddie Reed, Jimmy Neel, Joe Neel, Bobby Hill and George Graves.
