Shirley Ann Frye, age 66 of Shepherdsville, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2015 at the Norton Women's and Kosair Children's Hospital in Louisville.

She was born October 18, 1949 in Louisville. She was a homemaker and a Baptist by faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Irvin T. and Narvel Blanche Grigsby Wimsatt; one brother, Gene Wimsatt.

Survivors include four daughters, Shirley Davis (David) of Hillview, Kathy Allen (Johnny) of New Haven, Michele Frye of Shepherdsville and Cora Rogers (Vince) of Louisville; two sons, John Frye, Jr. of Louisville and Oscar Frye (Kathy) of New Haven; 17 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto. Interment will follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery of Manton. Bro. Bob Dugan will officiate.

Visitation is 3-8 PM Friday at Mattingly Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Vince Rogers, John Allen, Jesse Landes, Mike Davis, Charlie Davis and James Landes.
