Shorty Chester Brown, age 63 of Lebanon, passed away Thursday, June 24, 2021 at his home. He was born February 6, 1958, in Marion County. He formerly worked as a Farmer. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde Merrell and Ruby Mabel Burchett Brown; one sister, Sylvia Love; three brothers, Frank, Ernie and Carl Brown.

Survivors include three sisters, Betty French and Beverly Drun, both of Hodgenville and Mary Catherine Brown of Lebanon; four brothers, Randy Brown (Denise) and Amos Brown (Linda) all of Lebanon, Wendall Brown (Viola) of Saint Mary's and Johnny Brown of Hodgenville; a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM EST Monday, June 28, 2021, at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto. Bro. Clellan Hays will officiate. Burial will follow at Noon CST in Jamestown Cemetery, Jamestown, KY.

Visitation is 3-8 pm Sunday at Mattingly Funeral Home.
