Obituary
She was born August 25, 1921 in Louisville to the late Charles Nathaniel and Georgia Regina Thompson Wheat. She entered the Sisters of Loretto in 1939 and received her final vows August 15, 1945. She earned her Master's degree in Education from Saint Louis University in 1966. Her assignments were located in Texas, California, Colorado, Missouri and New Mexico. She retired to the Loretto Motherhouse in 2016.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM Saturday, January 7, 2017 at the Loretto Motherhouse Church. A wake will be held at 6:30 PM Friday at the Motherhouse. Mattingly Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
