Sister Lee Connolly SL, age 92 of Nerinx, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2016 at the Loretto Motherhouse Infirmary.

She was born February 22, 1924 in Chicago, Illinois to the late William and Mary Collopy Connolly. She entered religious life in 1942 and received her final vows August 15, 1948. She attended A.B. Loretto Heights College in Denver, Colorado and Saint Louis University where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Education and a Master's Degree in Psychology. Her assignments were in Colorado, Kentucky, Missouri, Texas and Alabama. She retired to the Loretto Motherhouse in 2004.

She donated her body to science. Her Memorial Mass will be celebrated 3 PM Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at the Loretto Motherhouse Church. A wake will be held 6:30 on Tuesday, April 5 at the Motherhouse.
