Obituary
Sister Barbara Croghan, age 96 of Nerinx, passed away Friday, January 16, 2015 at the Loretto Motherhouse Infirmary.
She was born January 22, 1919 in Denver, Colorado to the late John Croghan and Barbara Stroh. She entered religious life in 1934 and received her final vows in 1940. She attended Loretto Heights College in Denver where she earned degrees in English and Education. Her assignments were located in Colorado, Arizona, California, Illinois and Wyoming. She moved to the Loretto Motherhouse in 1990.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at the Loretto Motherhouse Church, 515 Nerinx Road, Nerinx, with burial to follow in the Motherhouse Cemetery.
A wake service will be held at 6:30 PM Monday at the Motherhouse.
Mattingly Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
