Sister Mary Joyce Reasoner, S.L., age 86 or the Loretto Motherhouse Infirmary passed away there on Thursday, September 14, 2017.

She was born July 14, 1931 in Beloit, Wisconsin to the late Harlyn Joseph and Loretta Caroline Ertmer Reasoner. She entered religious life in 1949 and received her final vows in 1955. She graduated from A.B. Webster college in 1960 with a major in Education. Her assignments were located in Missouri, Texas and Kentucky. She taught locally at Saint Augustine School in Lebanon from 1967 until 1977. She retired to the Loretto Motherhouse Infirmary in 2011.

A Mass of Christian Burail will be celebrated at 10 AM Monday, September 18, 2017 at the Loretto Motherhouse Church, 515 Nerinx Road, Nerinx. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Her wake will be at 6:30 PM Sunday at the Motherhouse. Mattingly Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
