Sister Mary Keefe, formerly known as Sister Mary Basil, age 88, of the Sisters of Loretto Motherhouse, Nerinx, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2012 at Spring View Hospital in Lebanon.
She was born March 15, 1924 in Chicago, Illinois. Sister Mary Keefe taught at Saint Augustine in Lebanon from 1953-59 and at Louisville Christ the King from 1959-67 and many other schools.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM Thursday, January 3, 2013 at the Loretto Motherhouse Church, Nerinx, with interment to follow in the Motherhouse Cemetery.
A wake service will be 6:30 PM Wednesday at the Motherhouse.
Mattingly Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
