Obituary
Sister Agnes Marie Plumb, age 91 of Nerinx, passed away Sunday, August 11, 2013 at the Loretto Motherhouse Infirmary.
She was born November 11, 1921 in Denver, Colorado to the late John A. and Agnes M. Berry Plumb. She entered religious life in 1939. She attended Loyola University where she earned a Master's Degree in Elementary Education. Her assignments included Teacher of Saint Benedict School in Louisville, Principal of Our Lady of Sorrows in Bernalillo, New Mexico, Principal of St. Joseph in El Paso, Texas, and co-director of Rhodes Tutoring Center in Littleton, Colorado. She retired to the motherhouse in 2007.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 AM Friday, August 16, 2013 at the Loretto Motherhouse Church. Interment will follow in the Motherhouse Cemetery.
A Vigil will be held 6:30 PM Thursday at the Loretto Motherhouse.
