Jeannette Marie Donnelly S.L., age 91 of Nerinx, passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at the Loretto Motherhouse Infirmary.

She was born April 27, 1922 in South Dakota to the late James E. and Bertha Moon Donnelly. She entered religious life in 1939 and received her final vows August 15, 1945. She was a graduate of Loretto Heights College in Denver, Colorado and she earned her Master's Degree in Education from Loyola University in Los Angeles, California. She was a former teacher, principal and Superior. Her assignments were in Colorado, Alabama, California, Texas and Missouri. She retired to the Loretto Motherhouse in 2011.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM Saturday, April 12, 2014 at the Loretto Motherhouse Church, 515 Nerinx Road, Nerinx, with burial to follow in the Motherhouse cemetery.

A wake service will be held at 6:30 PM Friday at the Loretto Motherhouse Church.
