Obituary
Sister Carina Vetter, age 94, formerly of Missouri, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2014 at the Loretto Motherhouse Infirmary.
She was born November 6, 1919 in Jefferson City, Missouri. She entered religious life in 1941 and received her final vows in 1947. She earned her degree in Elementary Education from A.B. Webster College, Webster Groves, Missouri in 1953. Her local assignments included St. Benedict School in Louisville in 1944 and Manton Public School in Manton, KY in 1951. She also taught in Virginia, Missouri and Illinois.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at the Loretto Motherhouse Church, 515 Nerinx Road, Nerinx, with interment to follow in the Motherhouse Cemetery.
A wake service will be held at 6:30 PM Tuesday at the Motherhouse.
