Mary Susie Detherage, age 84 of Raywick, passed away Friday, June 2, 2023, at The Village of Lebanon.  She was born May 8, 1939, in New Hope and raised in Raywick.  She was a member of Saint Francis Xavier Catholic church.  She was an expert quilter and member of the SFX Sew-cialize club.

Susie was preceded in death by her husband, John Cleo "J.C." Detherage; her parents, George Andrew and Amanda Bridget Hall Miles; one brother, Joseph Leo "Sonny" Miles.

Survivors include two children, Alan Detherage (Vickie) and Lois Clark (Fred) all of Raywick; three grandchildren, Freddie Clark, Amy Skaggs and Megan Hazelip; seven great grandchildren; one sister, Marie Miles of Saint Francis.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am Monday, June 5, 2023, at Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 108 Main Street, Raywick.  Rev. James W. Graf will officiate.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family requests visitation 3-8 pm Sunday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, with a prayer service at 7 pm by Rev. Deacon Joseph R. Dant.
