Margie Susan "Susie" Followay, age 76 of Raywick, passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born September 19, 1946 in Marion County.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman Lee and Marcella Garrett Childers; two sisters, Carolyn Spalding and Edith Ann Wright; two brothers, Charlie Childers and Harold Gene Childers; three half brothers, Bill, Elmer and Lloyd Hill.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Richard Followay; one daughter, Michelle Rice (James) of Perryville; one granddaughter, Sabrina Graves of Perryville; two sisters, Mary Burgin (Paul) of Louisville and Cecelia Devine (Jerry) of Shepherdsville; two brothers, Jerry Childers (Vickie) of High Grove and Eddie Childers of Carrollton.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 am Saturday, October 29, 2022 at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto.  Rev. Deacon Joseph R. Dant will officiate.  Burial will follow in Saint Francis Xavier Cemetery in Raywick.

Visitation will be held at 3-8 pm Friday at Mattingly Funeral Home.
