Sylvia Mae Brady, age 77 of Louisville, passed away Thursday, September 15, 2016 at her daughter's residence.
She was born January 13, 1939 in Manton. She formerly worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant with Saint Anthony Hospital in Louisville. She worked there 29 years until it closed. She was a member of Saint Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Louisville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Brady (2007); three daughters, Jo Ann Brady, Gladys Jean Brady and Charlotte White; her parents, Joseph Veller and Agnes Virginia Riggs McIntyre; five sisters, Louise Cambron, Dorothy Shanahan, Alice Mattingly, Mary Rudie and Lorene Kelty; one brother, James Earl McIntyre.
Survivors include two daughters, Darlene Brady (Kenny Scheirbaum) and Marlene Sutpin all of Louisville; three sons, Donald, Joseph (Debbie) and Jeremy Brady all of Louisville; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Catherine Smith of Tupelo, Missisippi; one brother, J.K. McIntyre (Betty) of Louisville.
Visitation is 10 AM until 1 PM Sunday, September 18, 2016 at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto. Interment will follow in the Holy Cross Cemetery.
