Tammy Lynn Wayne Johnson

Tammy Lynn Wayne Johnson, 53, of Lebanon, passed away on April 12, 2026, at her home. Born on August 28, 1972, in Louisville, Tammy was a beloved mother and grandmother, affectionately known as “Mammy” to all her nieces and nephews. She cherished days spent by the pool or lake and was known for her ability to fall asleep anywhere, a trait that always brought smiles to those around her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sandra Lynn Wayne Gribbins and Larry Wayne; one brother, Jason Wayne.

Survivors include two children, Whitney Johnson-Thompson (Carson) and Preston Wayne (Bri); two grandchildren, Blake and Island Johnson-Thompson; three siblings, Tracey Douglas (Mike), Tiffany Logan (Mechi), and Brandon Gribbins (Ashley); her very best friend Tonya “Nette” Kendrick and her fur baby, “Cash”.

A celebration of the life of Tammy Lynn Wayne Johnson will be held 3-7 pm Sunday, April 19, 2026, at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, with a service a 7 pm. Cremation will follow the service.

Memorials may go toward funeral expenses and may be made at the funeral home.
