Tanya Lynn Wade, age 47 of Loretto, passed away Monday, October 31, 2016 at UK Medical Center in Lexington.

She was born January 25, 1969 in Marion County. She worked as a child care provider and former assistant director of the Loretto Child Care Center.

Survivors include her husband of 28 years, Doug Wade; one daughter, Jami Miller (Mike) of Loretto; her parents, Cooper and Mary Thompson Mattingly; one brother, Greg Mattingly (Cathy) of Lebanon; one sister, Jennifer Richardston (Alan) of Lebanon.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Bryan T. Lamberson will officiate.

Visitation is 3-8 PM Wednesday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, with a prayer service at 7 PM.

The family requests that everyone wear UK themed attire to honor Tanya and her love of UK basketball.
