Theresa Catherine Metcalf, age 66 of Holy Cross, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2013 at her residence.
Theresa was born October 21, 1946 in Nelson County and was a Catholic by faith.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Eugene "Jinks" and Annie Belle Hagan Clark, her daughter, Eugenia Ann McClease, grandsons, Jeffery Allen McClease and Jessie Ray Basil and a number of brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years, John S. Metcalf, two daughters, Angelia Gale Cecil of New Haven and Patricia Metcalf Basil of Edmonton, one son, "Little John" Metcalf (Amanda) of Holy Cross, fifteen grandchildren, two sisters, Martha Ann Tingle of Mississippi and Marguerite Nalley of Holy Cross and three brothers, Eugene Clark (Beulah) and John Francis Clark (Kathleen) all of New Hope and Joseph B. Clark (Rose) of Eminence.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 AM Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 3560 N. St. Francis Road, Loretto, followed by interment in the church cemetery. Rev. R. Joseph Hemmerle will be the celebrant.
Visitation will be 3-8 PM Tuesday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto.
Pallbearers are Anna Cecil, Rebecca Cecil, Ricky Cecil, Jr., John Tyler Metcalf, Lucy Hutchins, B. J. Shaffer.
Honorary Pallbearers are Natasha Taylor, Haleigh Taylor, Jarred Simpson, Ethan Bartley, Gavin Robertson, Little Bob Logdson, Maranda Metcalf and Kloe Metcalf.
