Theresia Rose Peterson, age 55 of Loretto, died suddenly, Thursday, November 28, 2024 at her residence after a short illness.  She was born May 19, 1969 in Marion County.  She was a member and President of the Lebanon Farmers Market.  She enjoyed meeting people, sharing ideas and stories with local patrons who became her friends.  She was a member of Saint Charles Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Joyce and Russell Norris, as well as her brother, Thomas David Norris.

Survivors include her husband of 27 years, Donald Peterson; one son, Joseph Peterson; two daughters, Roseanna and Michaela Peterson, all of Loretto; one granddaughter, Ava Peterson, who was her pride and joy; five brothers, Wayne Norris (Julie) of Missouri, Michael Norris of Lawrenceburg, John Norris (Gina) of Frankfort, James Norris (Marjorie) of Cynthiana, and Christopher Norris (Jackie) of Springfield; three sisters, Sherry Little of Springfield, Donna Bodie (Blaine) of Oregon, and Stella Norris of Springfield; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.  She will be dearly missed by all.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Theresia Rose Peterson will be held at 11 am Friday, December 6, 2024 at Saint Charles Catholic Church, 675 Highway 327, Lebanon.  Rev. Scott J. Wimsett will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The visitation is 3-8 pm Thursday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, with a prayer service at 7 pm by Deacon Dennis May.
