Thomas L. Carrico, age 75 of Lebanon, passed away Friday, February 10, 2017 at the Village of Lebanon.
He was born March 10, 1941 in Washington County. He was a retired employee of the Kentucky Department of Corrections. He was also a former employee of Marion Adjustment Center, a partner in Lyon's General Store and former manager of Kroger in Lebanon. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force and a member of Saint Augustine Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Marion and Catherine White Carrico; one brother, Ted Carrico.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Theresa Lyon Carrico; two sons, Stephen Carrico (Sharon) of Niceville, Florida and Daniel Carrico of Mount Washington; one daughter, Susan C. Wittenauer (Bill) of Crestwood; two granddaughters, Georgia Carrico and Katherine Genton; two brothers, Pat Carrico (Trish) of Seattle, Washington and Larry Carrico (Susan) of Pewee Valley; three sisters, Carolyn Morrow (Dennis) and Deloris Jennings (Jay) all of Louisville and Doris Freeman (Dale) of Slidell, Louisiana.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at Saint Augustine Catholic Church, 235 S. Spalding Avenue, Lebanon. His nephew, The Rev. Adam Carrico will preside. Burial will follow in Lebanon National Cemetery.
Visitation is 3-8 PM Monday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto with a prayer service at 7 PM by The Rev. Deacon Joseph R. Dant.
Family requests no flowers be sent.
Pallbearers are Billy Lyon, Mike Lyon, Jodie Lyon, Jude Buckman, Adam Henry Lyon and Jacob Lyon.
