Thomas Howard "Tommy" Gordon

Thomas Howard “Tommy” Gordon, 68, of Lebanon, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2026, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born March 15, 1958, in Marion County to the late L.C. Gordon, Jr. and Margaret Lawson Gordon.

Tommy was a farmer and a former employee of Kentucky Cooperage. He loved horses and cattle, as well as fishing and spending time on the river. Above all, he cherished time with his family, especially his grandchildren and his nieces and nephews.

Survivors include two daughters, Kelly Cecil (Todd) of Lebanon and Leslie Sauter (Josh) of Bloomfield; two grandchildren, Luke Sauter and Ally Cecil; five siblings, Darlene Luckett of Louisville, E. C. Gordon (Carol) of Raywick, Betty Sullivan (Randy) of Campbellsville, Ronnie Gordon (Janice) of Lebanon, and Jimmy Gordon (Donna) of Raywick; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services for Thomas Howard “Tommy” Gordon will be held at 7 pm Thursday, September 10, 2026, at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto. Rev. Troy Elmore will officiate. Cremation will follow the services.

The visitation is 3-7 pm Thursday at Mattingly Funeral Home.
