Timothy Wayne "Tim" Nalley, age 61, of Bardstown, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. Born in Marion County on October 26, 1963, and raised in Loretto, Tim was known for his warm heart, love of family, and passion for classic cars. Tim spent part of his career working at South Central Bell, where he made many lasting friendships. He was an avid car enthusiast, delighting in collecting and displaying model cars. Tim also enjoyed gathering with friends and family for card games, cherishing every moment spent together. He will be remembered for his gentle spirit, his sense of humor, and the joy he brought to those around him. Tim's legacy lives on in the memories shared by his loved ones and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Truston and Mary Elsie Ruley Nalley; six siblings, Philip Nalley, Tommy Nalley, Joann Gootee, and infants David, Mary Ann, and John Herbert Nalley.
Survivors include two children, Caressa Bartley (Justin) of Loretto and Brandon Nalley (Shayna Maynard) of Hodgenville; four grandchildren, Nathan, Mikey, Anna, and Jesse; four sisters, Mary Cecil (Bobby) of Bardstown, Linda Cecil (Louis) of New Hope, Carolyn Gootee of Lexington, and Jenny Spannknebel of Louisville; three brothers, Leo Nalley (Frankie) and Joe "Tic" Nalley (Ellen) all of Loretto, and Charles Nalley (Judy) of Lebanon; one brother-in-law, Frank Gootee of Loretto; a good friend and neighbor, Keith Miles.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am Saturday, June 21, 2025 at Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 6785 Highway 52, Loretto. The Very Rev. Scott J. Wimsett will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The visitation is 3-8 pm Friday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto, with a prayer service at 7 pm by Rev. Deacon Joseph R. Dant.

Pallbearers are Eddie Cecil, Chuck Nalley, Jamie Gootee, Matthew Hamilton, Charlie Spannknebel, and David Nalley.
