Timothy Edward "Timmy" Hayes

Timothy Edward “Timmy” Hayes, 50, of Lebanon, passed away on July 14, 2026, at his residence. Born February 9, 1976, in Marion County, he was a retired employee of Ford Motor Company. He previously owned and operated Fuel Fitness in Springfield and later worked as a Spark Shopper for Walmart. He enjoyed playing softball, collecting baseball cards, and was an avid fan of Hulk Hogan.

Survivors include his parents, Rodney H. and Linda Lee Maupin Hayes of Lebanon; one sister, Stephanie Lynn Hayes (Tony Coslow) of Lebanon; one niece, Baylee Jo Newcomb; two nephews, Connor Lee Newcomb and Bentley Hayes Newcomb.

Funeral Services for Timothy Edward “Timmy” Hayes will be held at 11 am Saturday, July 18, 2026, at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto. Rev. Clellan Hays will officiate. Interment will follow in Old Liberty Cemetery.

The visitation is 4-8 pm Friday at Mattingly Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Jimmy Dale Wiser, Mikie Knopp, Greg Griffith, Vincent Biggers, Eric Thomas, and Jody Raley; Honorary Pallbearers are Baylee Jo Newcomb, Connor Lee Newcomb, Bentley Hayes Newcomb, Jake Akers, Paul Couch, Chad Ballard, Scott McCarty, Joe Todd Miles, Joey Porter, and Brad Cox.
