Thomas Harold "Tommy" Leake, age 72 of Raywick, passed away Friday, February 14, 2025 at Ephraim McDowell Medical Center in Danville. He was born May 24, 1952 in Raywick. He formerly worked in construction. He honorably served his country in the U. S. Army. His favorite things were dirt track racing and watching his grandkids play sports.
Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Harold "Dickie" Leake and Nancy Newton Leake; three siblings, Joseph Edward Leake, James Ronald Leake, and Iris Helena Clark; his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Pete Mattingly, and Helen Leake; one infant grandson, Hudson Damian Leake.
Survivors include four children, Lonnie Leake of Saint Francis, Michael Leake (Reagan) of Loretto, Jennifer Hagan (Todd) of Holy Cross, and Jeffrey Leake (Abby Medley) of Loretto; eight grandchildren, Madison Ackley (Andrew), Carter Leake, Pierce Hagan, Harrison Leake, Kace Hagan, Kensley Hagan, Zachary Leake, and Gracie Leake; two great grandchildren, Leo and MaKenna Ackley; three sisters, Narelle Collins (Joe) of Bardstown, Serena Mattingly and Karen Mattingly (Jake) all of Louisville; three brothers, Sherman Leake (Aline) of Lebanon, Alvin Leake and Freddie Leake (Debbie) all of Raywick; one brother-in-law, Don Clark of Greenbriar; several nieces and nephews.
Cremation was chosen. Memorial Services will be held at 10 am Friday, February 21, 2025 at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto. Rev. Deacon Joseph R. Dant will officiate. Inurnment will follow in Saint Francis Xavier Cemetery where military rites will be conducted by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard.
The memorial visitation is 3-7 pm Tuesday at Mattingly Funeral Home with a prayer service at 6 pm.
