William Edward "Stimie" Kelty, age 43 of Louisville, formerly of Holy Cross, passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at his home.  He was born December 28, 1981 in Louisville.  He worked as a carpenter.  He served as a Peer Mentor at Healing Place men's campus in Louisville and attended Celebrate Recovery at Fairdale Christian Church.  He was an avid U of L fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Howard "Charlie" Kelty and Martha Elaine Thomas Kelty.

Survivors include his wife, Dawn Rene' Kelty; five stepchildren, Elizabeth, Becca, Artamas, JoDay and Chloe; five step grandchildren, Clair, Taylor, Julius, Freya, and Rene'; five siblings, Melissa Osborne (Joe) of Bardstown, Lynette Cundiff (Wayne) of Boston, Jeanette Ralston (Eddie) of New Hope, Lujack Downs (Angie) of Bardstown, Gabriel Kelty of Bardstown.

Funeral Services for William Edward "Stimie" Kelty will be held at 11 am Wednesday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto.  Pastor Brandon Hatfield of Fairdale Christian Church will officiate.  Burial will follow in the Holy Cross Cemetery.

The visitation is 4-8 pm Tuesday at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto.

Pallbearers are Darrell Ballard, Gabriel Kelty, Shane Lyvers, Joe Boy Downs, Barney Pettit, and Lujack Downs.
