Born January 19, 1925 in Nelson County, KY, he was a Navy Veteran of World War II serving as Air Gunner and Air Plane Mechanic. He retired from Pepsi as Master Syrup Maker after 28 years. He retired from Our Lady of Rosary Makers after 15 years. Following his ordination in 1981 he served at Resurrection, St. Martin of Tours, and St. Anthony Chapel. He was a member of Eucharistic Adoration Committee; a leader of Resurrection prayer group for 15 years and a member of CNN Sewing Group.

CELEBRANT Rev. Daniel Lobsinger, C.R.; Rev. Deacon Philip Tremblay, C.R. and Rev. Deacon Harry Prestwood will assist.
BURIAL : 2:30 PM Monday at St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery - New Hope, KY where military rites will be performed by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard.
VISITATION: 12 till 8 PM Sunday at Ratterman Family Funeral Home - 3800 Bardstown Rd., Louisville, KY 40218 and 9 AM till time of service at the church on Monday.
Vigil will be 7 PM Sunday.
